JOB SUMMARY:

The Ultimate Auto Wash Associate ensures customer service is the first priority for Express Wash operations by providing a safe and friendly experience for our guests. Address all guest questions correctly, promptly, and in a friendly manner, as well as provide customer service that exceeds their expectations. Responsible for facilitating an efficient processing of vehicles by following the correct procedure for every vehicle through the car wash. Must maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization at the facility.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and split shifts
• Must have the ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend English effectively
• Must be detail-oriented and have strong organizational skills
• Must be able to operate a computer
• Must be able to stand for extended periods
• Must be able to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to bend, kneel, stoop, and reach (including overhead)
• Must have adequate strength, balance, and coordination to perform essential functions
• Must be able to work indoors and outdoors, enduring temperature and weather changes

JOB KNOWLEDGE:

The candidate will be trained in performing all functions of the car wash, including:

• Guiding vehicles through the car wash safely and efficiently
• Maintaining and repairing car wash equipment
• Performing preventative maintenance and minor repairs
• Detailing vehicles as trained
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization at the facility

DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS:

• Arrive on time and consistently
• Wear proper uniform, including safety goggles and non-slip shoes when necessary
• Maintain personal grooming standards; management has final approval
• Attend all required training, safety courses, and meetings
• Report and assist in correcting safety hazards
• Handle chemicals safely and properly
• Become proficient with all equipment and safety features
• Contribute to a positive team environment
• Provide excellent customer service, assist guests promptly, and maintain a friendly demeanor
• Follow procedures for vehicle processing and guide guests with hand signals
• Review loading instructions with guests and acknowledge when their vehicle is ready
• Maintain cleanliness of the facility, including restrooms, floors, and supplies
• Inspect vehicles for safety issues before entering the wash tunnel
• Perform vehicle detailing and minor repairs as trained
