Job summary

Responsibilities include inspecting and servicing vehicles, draining and refilling fluids, replacing filters, and documenting MPI findings for the service team.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance.
• Two years of experience as a technician’s helper or apprentice or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Drain oil from crankcase and refill with required amount of oil.
• Inspect fluid levels of steering gear, transmission, differential, and related components.
• Check air pressure of tires.
• Lubricate moving parts with specified lubricants.
• Inject grease into units using hand or compressed-air grease gun.
• Add water to radiator and battery.
• Replace oil and air filters.
• Inspect vehicles for additional repairs needed.
• Complete MPI inspection and record findings for the service advisor.
