Job summary

Holler Nissan of Columbia is seeking an Automotive Express Service Technician for a part-time role. You will perform vehicle repair and maintenance per dealer and factory standards, with opportunities to work nights and weekends as scheduled.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Two years of experience as a technician’s helper or apprentice in a dealership or Automotive Technical School.
• Good judgment.
• Pass background screening requirement.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Drain oil from crankcase and refill with required amount of oil.
• Inspect fluid levels of steering gear, power steering reservoir, transmission, differential, rear axle housings, and shackles.
• Check air pressure of tires.
• Lubricate moving parts with specified lubricants.
• Inject grease into units, such as springs, universal joints and steering knuckles.
• Add water to radiator and battery.
• Replace oil and air filters.
• Inspect all vehicles for additional repairs needed.
• Completes thorough MPI inspection and records findings to service advisor.
• Requires walking or standing for an extended period of time.
