Job summary

Lexus of Cool Springs is seeking a Full-Time Express Automotive Service Technician to join our luxury-brand service team in Brentwood, TN. You will deliver fast, expert maintenance and repairs, including lube, oil, and filter changes, while upholding Lexus standards and delivering outstanding guest care.

You’ll document MPI findings, prepare accurate estimates, assist fellow technicians, and keep the shop safe, clean, and calibrated to Lexus time standards. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the service team to deliver efficient, expert care on every customer vehicle.
• Perform minor services including lube, oil, and filter changes, following all dealership and manufacturer procedures.
• Conduct thorough multi-point inspections on each vehicle (Customer Pay, Warranty, Extended Warranty).
• Identify all legitimate service and repair needs and document recommendations in the MPI report.
• Prepare accurate estimates for additional work and communicate findings to the Service Advisor for guest approval.
• Assist fellow technicians with light mechanical duties as needed.

Your Role

• Collaborate with the service team to deliver efficient, expert care on every customer vehicle
• Perform minor services including lube, oil, and filter changes, following all dealership and manufacturer procedures
• Conduct thorough multi-point inspections on each vehicle (Customer Pay, Warranty, Extended Warranty)
• Identify all legitimate service and repair needs and document recommendations in the Multi-Point Inspection (MPI) report
• Prepare accurate estimates for additional work and communicate findings to the Service Advisor for guest approval
• Assist fellow technicians with light mechanical duties as needed
• Maintain excellent communication with Service Manager, Service Consultants, and technicians to meet Lexus time standards and exceed guest expectations
• Keep the shop clean and equipment calibrated to Lexus standards
• Perform additional duties as assigned, contributing to a smooth, professional shop environment

All applicants must be at least 19 years old, and able to pass pre-employment testing which includes background checks, MVR, drug test, and valid driver's license for at least 3 years.

Salary: $18 - $20 per hour
