Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or commensurate experience.
• Minimum of three years underwriting experience with exposure to commercial auto preferred.
• Basic understanding of exposure identification, evaluation, quantification, and classification.
• Basic understanding of applying proper rates and rate adequacy.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, select, and price Express (1-10) commercial automobile risks.
• Monitor and maintain a book of business with assigned general agent partners.
• Meet profitability and revenue goals.
• Maintain policies and endorsements; communicate with support staff.
• Maintain agent relationships through superior service and visits.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
