Job summary

Carlock Automotive is seeking an Express Service Technician to inspect and lubricate vehicles quickly and thoroughly. You’ll start by performing multipoint inspections and communicating needs to service advisors, with opportunities for growth within a Fortune 500–style environment.

Responsibilities include fluid checks, lubrication, oil changes, filter replacements, and proactive repairs while following all safety standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
• Familiarity with automotive repair/maintenance basics.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform multipoint inspections.
• Communicate additional service/repair needs to service advisors.
• Service universal joints, grease fittings, steering knuckles with grease guns.
• Inspect fluid levels in steering gears, transmissions, differentials, and axles.
• Check tire pressure and lubricate moving parts.
• Drain oil and refill with the correct amount.
• Add water to radiator and battery; replace oil and air filters.
• Inspect vehicles for additional repairs.
• Adhere to company policies, safety standards, and codes of conduct.
• Follow dealership safety procedures to avoid fumes and chemicals exposure.
