Hendrick Automotive Group is seeking a Lube Technician to perform express lube duties, oil and filter changes, and lubrication of vehicle joints. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and following guidelines while maintaining a clean, organized service area.

The technician will check fluids, report needed repairs, and ensure proper vehicle readiness with attention to CSI and company policies. Evening shifts and weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of automotive parts and systems.
• Demonstrable mechanical skills and knowledge.
• Technical training or commensurate technical experience.

• Valid Driver’s License and Automobile Salesperson License.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to express lube guidelines and performs lube, oil and filter changes.
• Drains and replaces oil and filter; lubricates joints including idler arm steering knuckles and tie rods ends.
• Reports repairs to service advisor and installs LOF reminder sticker.
• Checks and refills fluids; maintains vehicle cleanliness and CSI standards.
• Keeps work area organized, follows safety rules, and records hours worked.
