Job summary

Classic Mazda in Orlando, FL is seeking an Automotive Express Service Technician to perform maintenance and repair work in accordance with dealer and factory standards. The Express Technician will work with the shop's Hunter equipment and manufacturer tools to service vehicles efficiently.

Responsibilities include oil changes, fluid inspections, tire checks, filter replacements, MPI inspections, and assisting service advisors.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Two years of experience as a technician’s helper or apprentice in an automobile dealership or Automotive Technical School.

Responsibilities

• Drain oil from crankcase and refill with required amount of oil.
• Inspect fluid levels of steering gear, power steering reservoir, transmission, differential, rear axle housings, and shackles
• Check air pressure of tires
• Lubricate moving parts with specified lubricants
• Inject grease into units using grease gun when available
• Add water to radiator and battery
• Replace oil and air filters
• Inspect all vehicles for additional repairs needed
• Complete MPI inspection and record findings to service advisor
