Kemper in McAllen, Texas seeks a claims professional to manage intake, investigation, valuation, and settlement within policy guidelines. Bilingual Spanish and a license where required help deliver top-tier service to insureds and agents.

Requirements include a high school diploma, 6 months of claims experience or a degree substitution, and strong communication skills. Knowledge of non-standard auto is a plus; routine computer use is expected.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or G.E.D required.
• Minimum 6 months of entry level claims handling/claims intake experience OR 2+ year college degree can be substituted in lieu of experience.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred
• Must obtain and maintain a valid insurance adjuster's license as needed based on location and claim assignment for states that require a staff adjuster to be licensed. (*McAllen and Birmingham required).
• A passion for delivering outstanding customer service to agents and customers.
• Experience in non-standard auto a plus.
• Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and organizational skills with a team-oriented approach are necessary.
• Basic computer skills in Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook are essential.

The range for this position is $18.56 to $31.46. When determining candidate offers, we consider experience, skills, education, certifications and geographics location among other factors. This job is also eligible for our Kemper benefits package (Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, 401k, etc.).
