Lower Burrell Baptist Church in Lower Burrell, PA seeks a godly shepherd to lead the flock. We are a warm, multi-generational congregation; elder-led governance; doctrines of grace and expository preaching. The right man will be pastorally warm and deeply rooted in Scripture.

The pastor will preach weekly, administer the ordinances, perform ceremonies, provide pastoral care, and guide church life with the elder board. Compensation includes a four-bedroom parsonage and a comprehensive package.

Qualifications

• Theologial precision matters deeply to us, but so does a pastor who will sit with the grieving, laugh with the joyful, and know his sheep by name.
• The right man for this pulpit is theologically grounded and pastorally warm—someone our congregation can trust, lean on, and grow under.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Sunday morning sermon as the centerpiece of ministry.
• Regularly administer the Lord’s Supper and conduct baptisms.
• Officiate weddings and funerals; provide pastoral counseling.
• Provide spiritual oversight to the life of the congregation in partnership with the elder board.
