Russell Tobin's client, an American drug wholesale and distribution company, is hiring Export Operations Associate in Mount Prospect.

Export Operations Associate

Pay: $23 - $24/hour

Schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday

Location: Mount Prospect, IL

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Temporary Export Associate to support daily export operations. This role is responsible for handling outbound export shipments from start to finish, ensuring accurate documentation, system updates, and shipment preparation in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, organize, and process export shipments in accordance with company procedures and applicable export regulations.
• Accurately enter and maintain Air Waybill (AWB) details and shipment information within internal tracking systems.
• Upload, organize, and verify required export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and shipping labels.
• Safely handle, move, and weigh outbound shipments during the export preparation process.
• Ensure compliance with export control laws, company policies, and standard operating procedures.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff, logistics partners, and internal teams to ensure timely shipment dispatch.

Requirements

• Ability to independently lift, carry, and maneuver packages weighing up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Strong attention to detail with accurate data entry and documentation skills.
• Comfortable using internal systems and standard office software, including Microsoft Office and ERP/WMS platforms.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in export operations, logistics, or warehouse environments.
• Familiarity with Air Waybill (AWB) processes and export documentation.
• Knowledge of international shipping regulations and trade compliance requirements.
