Job Summary

Main Duties and Responsibilities

1. Dispatch drivers and agents for pickups, deliveries, drop-offs, and recoveries at the airport, broker, vendor, or client sites.
2. Ensure imports recovery and domestic transfers are made.
3. Ensure that all export and domestic drops are made on time.
4. Send pre-alerts to Marken office or agents concerned.
5. Review appropriate documentation, labeling, and markings included with each shipment.
6. Advise on pickups and deliveries delays in a timely manner.
7. Prepare the next flight out shipments.
8. Replenish shipments requiring dry ice or gel packs for temperature control.
9. Confirm pieces, weights, and dimensions after each collection and enter them in Maestro.
10. Report late pickups or missed flights to the Supervisor and email CS.
11. Enter PODs in Maestro.
12. Scan, package, and label inbound shipments before tendering for final destination, domestic or international.
13. Answer domestic and international internal quotes.
14. Check import and export paperwork for completeness.
15. Post departure flights to confirm shipments left on the booked flight.
16. Liaise with customs brokers for import pre-alerts and clearance follow-up.
17. Perform other duties as required to support the Operations Team.

Basic Qualifications:

Must be a U.S. Citizen or National, a lawfully admitted alien for permanent residence, or authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.

Pay Range:

The base pay ranges from $17.70/hr to $28.75/hr, depending on market location, knowledge, skills, education, and experience. Additional benefits include medical, dental, vision, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, disability plans, employee assistance, 401(k), paid time off, and stock purchase programs, subject to eligibility.
