A leading supply chain services company is seeking an Air Export Specialist to facilitate air freight operations. This role involves managing documentation, communicating with customers and authorities, and ensuring compliance with customs laws. Ideal candidates will have 2-5 years of relevant experience, strong communication skills, and a detail-oriented approach.
JAS is an international, non-asset-based supply chain services and solutions company. Our services include air and ocean freight forwarding, contract logistics, customs brokerage, distribution, inbound logistics, truckload brokerage and other supply chain management services, including consulting, the coordination of purchase orders and customized management services.
The Air Export Specialist is responsible for facilitating the movement of products, equipment, and materials out of the country, via air freight. This position will ensure air freight is in accordance with organizational policy and procedure, and within compliance of relevant local, country and international laws and processes. This role is required to provide customer service to exporting customers and accounting agents, while performing bookings, providing rates, document production, and problem resolution.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

100% performed in climate-controlled internal office environment working under normal office conditions. Travel will be (up to__ %) required in support of the position’s responsibilities.

In accordance with Illinois state law, we are committed to providing pay transparency to all job applicants. For this position, the salary range is $26 - 31.25/Hour, depending on qualifications and experience. This range represents the full compensation potential for this role, and the specific compensation offered to the selected candidate will be based on factors such as skills, experience, and other relevant qualifications.
In addition to base salary, JAS Forwarding offers a comprehensive benefits package, including dental, vision, and health insurance, 401(k), bonuses (depending on role) etc.
