Job Summary

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Dispatch drivers and agents for pickups, deliveries, drop-offs, and recoveries at the airport, broker, vendor, or client sites.
• Ensure imports recovery and domestic transfers are made.
• Ensure that all export and domestic drops are completed on time.
• Send pre-alerts to Marken office or concerned agents.
• Review appropriate documentation, labeling, and markings included with each shipment.
• Advise on pickups and delivery delays in a timely manner.
• Prepare the next flight out shipments.
• Replenish dry ice and gel packs for temperature-sensitive shipments to maintain the chain of custody.
• Confirm pieces, weights, and dimensions after each collection and enter them into Maestro.
• Report late pickups or missed flights to the Supervisor and email Customer Service.
• Enter Proof of Delivery (PODs) in Maestro.
• Scan, package, and label inbound shipments before tendering for final destination, either domestic or international.
• Answer domestic and international internal quotes.
• Check import and export paperwork for completeness.
• Post flight departures to confirm shipments have left on the booked flight.
• Liaise with customs brokers to pre-alert imports and follow up on clearance status.
• Perform other duties as required to assist the Operations Team in completing daily tasks.

General

• Adhere to all company policies at all times.
• Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by the Line Manager or Branch Manager.

Pay Range:

The base pay ranges from $17.70/hr to $28.75/hr, depending on market location, knowledge, skills, education, and experience. Hired applicants may be eligible for incentive programs, which are not guaranteed and depend on performance and other factors. Benefits include medical, dental, vision coverage, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, disability plans, employee assistance programs, 401(k), paid time off, and employee stock purchase options.
