Job summary

Radiant Nuclear is seeking an Export Control Specialist to support international compliance, export controls, and IP strategy as we bring advanced nuclear technologies to global markets. The role sits in Radiant’s regulatory department and collaborates across engineering, operations, supply chain, and leadership to enable compliant execution.

The position requires 2-5 years in export controls or regulatory compliance, ITAR/EAR experience, and a willingness to work 100% onsite at the El Segundo

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in export controls, trade compliance, sanctions, or regulatory compliance.
• Experience with ITAR and EAR classifications and licensing.
• Experience developing and implementing Technology Control Plans.
• Prior nuclear industry, national lab, or federal government experience.
• Experience with Part 810 and Part 110 classifications and licensing.
• Experience implementing OFAC compliance.
• Experience providing guidance on federal contracting and procurement provisions (DFARS, Section 1260H, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Lead commodity classification of Radiant products
• Provide guidance to Supply Chain and Engineering teams on export control during procurement
• Review internal documents and media for export control and IP considerations
• Manage export control licensing applications and reporting
