JOB TITLE: Product Data Management Specialist 4
LOCATION: Seattle, WA
DURATION: 12 months with potential for extension

Summary:
- Performs export classifications (ECCN and ITAR) for aerospace technical data including drawings, materials, source code, and engineering systems.
- Conducts an Order of Review independently to perform standard classifications for export compliance.
- Evaluates technical data including drawings, BOMs, software, and systems to determine appropriate classifications under EAR and ITAR regulations.
- Builds onward self-classifier status with mentor support for increasing independence in classification decisions.
- Contributes to process improvements and documentation of export decision guides used across the organization.
- Updates and enhances export decision guidance materials for internal stakeholder use.
- Supports corporate investigations and compliance risk assessments for export control activities.
- Collaborates with engineers to evaluate data, challenge assumptions, and guide compliant decisions.
- Works with Global Trade Control and Legal teams on complex or high-risk classification cases.
- Translates complex regulations into practical guidance for engineering teams.
Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
- AA degree in related discipline and typically 6 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience performing export classifications (ECCN and ITAR) for technical data in aerospace or related industries.
- Experience conducting Order of Review for standard classifications.
- Ability to build onward self-classifier status with minimal mentor review.
- Experience contributing to process improvements and documentation of compliance procedures.
- Experience evaluating engineering technical data including drawings, source code, BOMs, and systems.
- Experience supporting corporate investigations and compliance risk assessments.
- Experience collaborating with engineers to guide compliant decisions.
- Experience working with Global Trade Control and Legal teams on compliance cases.
- Ability to translate complex regulations into practical guidance for engineering teams.
