Job summary

WindRiver is seeking an Expo / Food Runner to work with the serving staff, delivering food promptly and keeping tables guest-ready. You will help manage dining room flow to ensure a smooth, positive guest experience.

Responsibilities include assisting servers, clearing and resetting tables, delivering orders, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting events. Must be 18+ with a HS diploma preferred; weekend/evening shifts required.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work weekends, holidays and evenings.
• Solid understanding of restaurant etiquette and safety guidelines.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities are essential.

• Confirm correct items and special requests before delivery.
• Ensure food presentation is proper and communicate issues to staff.
• Maintain dining areas, service stations, and common guest areas cleanliness.
• Support side work, restocking, and end-of-shift cleaning duties.

WindRiver is seeking an Expo / Food Runner, you will work closely with the serving staff to provide quality dining experiences. Your main responsibility is supporting the dining team by delivering food promptly, maintaining clean and guest-ready tables, and assisting with overall dining room flow to ensure an efficient and positive guest experience.

WindRiver is a luxury lakefront and golf community offering a vibrant lifestyle that encompasses world-class amenities, including a championship golf course, full-service marina, Lakeside Inn, resort-style pool, and much more. At the heart of our community is WindRiver Club, a private members-only club soon to feature Clubhouse Village — home to our restaurant, bar, spa, fitness centre, event spaces, and pro shop.

Expo Responsibilities:

Dining Room Support

• Assist servers by maintaining clean, organized, and guest-ready tables.
• Clear tables of used dishes, glassware, and utensils promptly.

Cleanliness and Organization

• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, service stations, and common guest areas.
• Assist with side work, restocking, and end-of-shift cleaning duties.
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.

Team Collaboration

• Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to support service flow.
• Assist with basic guest needs when appropriate and direct questions to the appropriate team member.
• Support special events and high-volume service periods as needed.

Requirements

• High School diploma (preferred).
• Must be at least 18 years old (required).

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Must be willing to work weekend, holiday, and evening shifts.
• Basic understanding of restaurant etiquette.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
• Excellent track record of communication skills and working as a team player.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to improvise and make decisions based on business or guest needs.
• Ability to provide quality service and experience for members and guests.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to bend, stoop, climb, twist, climb stairs, kneel, lift, push, and pull items weighing up to 50lbs. Must be able to stand and continuously move for up to 8 hours at a time.
