Job summary

Forno Osteria and Bar Hyde Park in Cincinnati is seeking a dedicated food expeditor to ensure timely, accurate delivery from kitchen to table. You will call out orders to the chefs, coordinate with front-of-house and back-of-house, and help prepare dishes for delivery.

You must have proven expeditor experience in a restaurant, a solid understanding of health and safety rules, excellent communication, and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the efficient flow of orders from the waiters to the kitchen.

They are responsible for the smooth flow of orders and efficient delivery of service. They communicate with the FOH and BOH and they inspect the quality of the dishes served. In the food expeditor role, you will be in charge of calling out orders to the chefs and preparing dishes for delivery. A key element of this role is to ascertain that each staff member receives the proper orders.
