The menu is ocean-to-table focused and utilizes locally grown produce and local flavors to complement the dishes. The Easterly offers one of the Virgin Island's most robust beverage programs with unique handcrafted cocktails, twists on Caribbean favorites, and an extensive list of craft beers & wine. Tucked away in an oasis of palm trees and rich greenery, the restaurant exudes a Bohemian-island vibe, and offers a social, vibrant and interactive dining experience.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Provide knowledgeable, friendly, attentive, efficient, energetic and thoughtful service at all times.
• Control the flow of service between the kitchen team, servers, and guests
• Ensure orders are being prepared with the correct priority.
• Mark tickets according to Ballast's standards and assist in the final garnishment of dishes.
• Check dishes before delivery for accuracy, presentation, and temperature.
• Communicate with Head Chef and BOH team about all kitchen-related issues, menu changes, and updates relating to service.
• Transfer important information between the kitchen and the servers/bartenders.
• Ensure compliance with operational standards, health department regulations, and all federal/state/local laws.
• Always follow and enforce company policies and procedures.
• Speak fluently on ingredients, sourcing, allergens, menu, and preparations to help guide service staff.
• Master the art of multi-tasking; take cues from multiple team members and prioritize tasks on the fly in a high- volume environment.
• Collaborate effortlessly with your colleagues. Support your floor team and always lend hands when needed!
• Partner with management promptly to resolve any guest feedback or operational challenges.
• Prioritize professional, respectful, and open communication with all team members.
• Stay ahead of the rush. Prep your stations, maintain organization, and communicate effectively so you're never caught off guard during service.
