The Easterly St. Thomas is seeking a motivated dishwasher to join our waterfront dining team. You will help maintain the cleanliness of the dish area, support BOH duties, and keep the kitchen running smoothly in a vibrant Caribbean setting.

Responsibilities

• Organize, clean, sanitize, and maintain the dishes, dish area, and related machinery.
• Maintain an immaculate kitchen and dish station for health inspections.
• Wash and arrange small wares, dishes, glassware, and cooking supplies.
• Keep storage areas tidy and well organized; restock as needed.
• Assist with opening and closing tasks and general kitchen support.
• Work with speed and pride to keep things spotless; communicate with the Chef and Manager.

The menu is ocean-to-table focused and utilizes locally grown produce and local flavors to complement the dishes. The Easterly offers one of the Virgin Island’s most robust beverage programs with unique handcrafted cocktails, twists on Caribbean favorites, and an extensive list of craft beers & wine. Tucked away in an oasis of palm trees and rich greenery, the restaurant exudes a Bohemian-island vibe, and offers a social, vibrant and interactive dining experience.

The dishwasher is responsible for the organization and cleanliness of the dish area and helps with additional BOH duties as needed. Our dishwashers support the team and help to create and maintain an exciting, inviting, and progressive environment. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Responsible for organization, cleanliness, sanitation, and maintenance of the dishes, dish area, and related machinery.
• Run airtight operational systems to guarantee an immaculate, "A-Grade" health inspection environment.
• Wash, sanitize and organize small wares, dishes, glasses, silverware, and cooking supplies
• Keep the kitchen, dish station, and storage areas looking clean, clutter-free, and well organized.
• Keep an eye on kitchen essentials, restock on the fly, and give management a heads-up before supplies run low.
• Assist with cleaning and maintenance of the restaurant; sweep and clean the floors.
• Keep the trash bins clean, sorted, and regularly cleared.
• Pitch in when delivery trucks arrive—unload, organize, and stock supplies where they need to go.
• Assist with proper opening and closing of the restaurant; perform related work as requested.
• Work with speed, efficiency, and pride in keeping things spotless.
• Keep the Chef and Manager on Duty in the loop on all things kitchen related.
• Be a culture builder—bring positive energy, authenticity, reliability, and pride in how you show up every day.
