Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks an Explosives Operations Engineer to join our Costa Mesa, CA team. You will help move explosive systems from development to testing and field support by building safe, compliant, and executable operations across product lines.

Collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, program leadership, legal, finance, and EHS, you will translate customer and program requirements into actionable operations that advance Anduril’s mission while meeting safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive explosives operations experience.
• Experience applying DoD, ATF/ATFE, DOT, OSHA safety regulations.
• Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. security clearance.
• Willingness to travel 25–50% and collaborate across functions.
• Hands-on experience in lab, test, range, or field environments.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute explosives operations for current and future Anduril products.
• Support hands-on explosives operations across lab, test, and field environments.
• Maintain safety procedures and compliance posture for explosive operations.
• Oversee explosives storage, inventory, inspections, and forecasting.
• Train others on safe handling and operational execution.
• Collaborate with legal, operations, finance, program leadership, and engineering.
