Job summary

Day & Zimmermann Company in Parsons, Kansas, is seeking a full-time Explosives Operator earning $23.58 per hour, Mon-Fri, 6:30am-7:00pm (60 hours per week). You will operate melts equipment, monitor explosive melt systems, and follow SOPs to ensure safe, efficient production.

Qualifications include a High School diploma or equivalent and at least 6 months of production equipment experience; forklift license is preferred. Comprehensive benefits accompany employment.

This position pays $23.58 per hour Mon - Fri 6:30am - 7:00pm (60 Hours a week)

We're looking for a full-time, Explosives Operator to join our Day & Zimmermann team located in Parsons, Kansas.

As the Explosives Operator, here's the work you'll do:

• Operates a computer intecont, a loss-in-weight feeder and thermocouple thermometer for melts using kettles (5 gal., 50 gal., and 250 gal.)
• Activates and monitors systems associated with Explosive Melt System for all types of explosives. Ensures there are explosives ready for each pour at the start and end of each day.
• Complies with operation-approved standard operating procedures.
• Coordinates pre and post system checks and cleans up as required on all floors.
