Day & Zimmermann Company in Parsons, Kansas is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic (Millwright) to join our team. This full-time role focuses on maintaining machines and equipment in peak condition, with duties including dismantling, installing, or repairing machinery and setting up heavy equipment according to plans.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience, basic math and measurement skills, and the ability to work independently.

This position pays $28.48 per hour!

We're looking for afull-time, Maintenance Mechanic (Millwright) to join our Day & Zimmermann team located in Parsons, Kansas.

As the Maintenance Mechanic (Millwright), here's the work you'll do:

• Maintains machines and equipment in efficient operating condition.
• Ability to dismantle, install or repair machines, power shafting, pulleys, jacks, and trucks to aid moving machinery.
• Sets up heay machinery and mechanical equipment in accordance with layout plans, blueprints, and other drawings.
• Performs maintenance and repairs of motor vehicles, fork trucks, trailers, etc.
• Scales and instruments calibration
• Ability to weld during fabrication.

This role is for you if you have these skills:

• Basic mathematics and measurement capabilities
• Knowledge of Security regulations (ATF, DSS, Homeland Security)
• Ability to work independently
• Effective communication skills

And if you have these qualifications:

• High School and/or equivalent.
• 3 years minimum experience
• Forklift
