Job summary

Allied Universal Enhanced Protection Services is hiring an Explosive Detection Canine (K9) Handler. You will work with a trained K9 to perform searches at client sites, including corporate buildings and open areas. Paid training is provided, and there is a canine stipend alongside the hourly pay of $29.83.

The role requires a minimum of two years in military, law enforcement, or corrections. A private vehicle is required to transport the K9, and housing for the K9 partner is provided by you.

Qualifications

• Requires minimum two years in military, law enforcement or corrections.
• Must own/private vehicle to transport K9 partner.
• Must be able to accommodate housing for K9 partner; K9 resides with you.

Responsibilities

• Partner with a trained Explosive Detection K9 to conduct searches at client sites.
• Liaise with client security manager, law enforcement and partners to execute security protocols.
• Train the Explosive Detection K9 daily and ensure safety/well-being.
• Follow all regulatory protocols and use required technology.
