Job summary

Allied Universal® Enhanced Protection Services is seeking an Explosive Detection K9 Handler to partner with a trained K9 and perform searches at client sites, including corporate buildings and loading docks. The role requires a minimum of two years in military, law enforcement, or corrections.

We offer paid training, a competitive hourly rate, and a canine stipend. You must have a personal vehicle for K9 transport and be able to accommodate housing for the K9 partner.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years in military, law enforcement or corrections.
• Must possess reliable transportation for safe K9 transport.
• Willingness to be available for incident/emergency response duty and client demonstrations.

Responsibilities

• Partner with a trained Explosive Detection K9 to conduct searches at client sites.
• Coordinate with client security manager and local authorities on security protocols.
• Train the Explosive Detection K9 daily and ensure safety and welfare of the animal.
• Comply with all regulations and required technology usage.
