Job summary

Global K9 Protection Group LLC is seeking a dedicated Cargo Screening K9 Handler to perform explosive detection screening with a trained canine and keep detailed administrative records. The role includes housing, care, and welfare of the assigned canine, along with maintaining related paperwork.

This full-time position requires U.S. citizenship, TSA clearance, a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Qualifications

• Be a US citizen or national.
• Able to pass TSA Security Threat Assessment.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Able to pass background check and drug screen.
• Able to obtain TSA Known Traveler Number (TSA Pre-Check).
• Licensing per state/local laws may be required.
• English literacy to follow written and oral instructions.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to work independently or in a team.
• Exercise sound judgment in all duties.
• Maintain professional relationships with staff and agencies.
