Job summary

Global K9 Protection Group LLC is seeking a dedicated Cargo Screening K9 Handler to operate as part of our security team in the United States. The role involves handling explosive detection dogs, conducting screening operations, and maintaining administrative records.

Candidates must meet U.S. citizenship requirements, pass TSA security assessments, hold a high school diploma or GED, a valid Real ID driver’s license, and demonstrate strong interpersonal and team skills.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen status required.
• Must pass TSA Security Threat Assessment.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Real ID driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Able to pass background check and drug screen.
• Must obtain TSA Pre-Check where applicable.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws.
• Able to read, write, and understand English well.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct screening operations for explosive materials using a trained Explosive Detection Canine.
• Maintain administrative records for work and training.
• Care, housing, and welfare of assigned canine.
• Maintain administrative records related to duties and training.
