Job summary

The Josef Group in Maryland seeks an Exploitation Analyst to combine analytic and technical expertise for understanding SIGINT and cybersecurity systems and to drive the exploitation of digital networks. A highly motivated team player is essential to succeed in this role.

You will work closely with operators and partners to develop exploitation techniques, adapt to new information, and tackle complex challenges while applying tradecraft across a range of technologies and environments.

Qualifications

• Prior Exploitation Analyst experience.
• Experience mapping physical and logical target networks and identifying vulnerabilities.
• Ability to identify and communicate computer and telecommunications network elements.
• Knowledge of computer security principles, vulnerability analysis, and exploitation methods.
• Deep knowledge of network connectivity concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, SSL, etc.).
• Understanding of methods and techniques related to target development.

Exploitation Analyst

TS/SCI and Full Scope Required

You will combine analytic and technical expertise to understand information found in SIGINT and cybersecurity systems and facilitate the exploitation of digital networks. Working closely with other technical experts, you will play a crucial role in skillfully using specialized tools and tradecraft to drive the CNO mission forward. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated team player who enjoys solving some of the world’s toughest problems.

Skills Requirements

• Prior Exploitation Analyst experience.
• Experience with mapping physical and logical target networks and identifying vulnerabilities.
• Ability to identify and communicate computer and telecommunications network elements.
• Knowledge of computer security principles, vulnerability analysis, and exploitation methods.
• Deep knowledge of the concepts, principles, and methods for network connectivity (e.g. TCP/IP, DNS, SSL, etc.).
• Understanding of the methods, strategies, and techniques related to target development.

Nice to Haves

• Prior CNO experience.
• Relevant experience in information security, network design, programming, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, and/or computer forensics.
• Experience with Jupyter Notebooks and Python scripting.
• Hands-on experience with XKS, DX, and other internal tradecraft.
• Knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems’ architecture.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail.
