Job summary

LexisNexis Legal & Professional is seeking an Expert Witness Research Analyst to perform Testimonial History and Party History research using court records and legal research tools. You will manage search requests, communicate with customers, and ensure quality and turnaround objectives.

The role requires a JD, paralegal certification, or equivalent, strong US legal knowledge, and excellent research and writing skills. Full-time role with standard business hours and training.

Qualifications

• JD, paralegal certification, or equivalent education/experience.
• Working knowledge of the US court system and legal terminology.
• Effective research, critical thinking, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research using internal and external resources.
• Manage the life cycle of Expert Witness Search requests.
• Deliver clear, concise, accurate, timely communication to customers.
• Apply established standards to the order management process.
• Represent the customer’s needs by reporting feedback and supporting issue resolution.
• Complete Testimonial History and Party History search orders accurately within targets.
• Cross-train and support other research queues as needed.
• Use AI-enabled legal research tools while validating results for accuracy.
