  • Multidisciplinary knowledge covering Mechanical, HVAC, Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls.

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Expert Quality Manager to join a leading global Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) organisation delivering some of the largest and most complex hyperscale data center projects in North America.

This strategic leadership position is responsible for developing, implementing and continuously improving the company's Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring consistent quality standards across multiple data center projects throughout the United States.

Working closely with Business Development, Engineering, Procurement, Commercial, Construction and Project Management teams, the successful candidate will provide quality leadership throughout the entire project lifecycle—from proposal and prequalification through engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and project close‑out.

This is primarily an office‑based role located in Dallas, Texas, with regular travel to project sites to support project mobilisation, quality audits, project reviews and key delivery milestones.

Key Responsibilities
Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Develop, implement and continuously improve the corporate Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, company standards, client specifications and applicable industry regulations.
  • Standardise quality procedures and best practices across multiple hyperscale data center projects.
  • Promote a culture of quality, operational excellence and continuous improvement throughout the organisation.
Project & Proposal Support
  • Support business development and proposal teams by defining project quality strategies during bid and tender phases.
  • Develop project‑specific Quality Plans and execution strategies.
  • Participate in contract reviews and project kick‑off meetings to ensure quality requirements are fully integrated into project execution.
  • Provide technical quality guidance throughout engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning activities.
  • Develop and manage supplier pre‑qualification and quality assessment programmes.
  • Support procurement teams with supplier quality requirements and evaluations.
  • Review subcontractor quality documentation and monitor ongoing performance.
  • Collaborate with vendors, subcontractors and project teams to resolve quality issues efficiently.
  • Plan and perform internal and external quality audits across projects and regional operations.
  • Monitor project quality KPIs and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Lead lessons learned workshops and implement best practices across future projects.
  • Drive corrective and preventive actions to improve project quality performance.
Leadership & Governance
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to Project QA/QC teams during project mobilisation.
  • Develop and maintain quality procedures, work instructions, inspection checklists and governance documentation.
  • Support project teams with quality planning, issue resolution and compliance activities.
  • Ensure consistent implementation of quality standards across all projects.
Stakeholder Management
  • Build strong working relationships with Engineering, Construction, Procurement, Commercial and Project Management teams.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on quality strategy and governance.
  • Coordinate with clients, subcontractors and third‑party stakeholders to ensure alignment on quality expectations.
  • Present quality performance metrics, audit findings and improvement initiatives to senior management.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related technical discipline (or equivalent industry experience).
  • Minimum 12 years of Quality Management experience within Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC/EPCM) organisations.
  • Extensive experience implementing and managing Quality Management Systems.
  • Demonstrated multidisciplinary knowledge covering:

  • Experience supporting large‑scale mission‑critical or industrial construction projects.
  • Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting hyperscale data centre or other mission‑critical construction projects.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt or equivalent continuous improvement certification.
  • Experience using digital Quality Management Systems (QMS) and reporting platforms.
  • Understanding of construction sequencing, commissioning and systems turnover.
