Job summary

Music & Arts is seeking an instrument repair technician to repair brass, woodwind, orchestral or percussion instruments and provide timely service to return instruments in good playing order.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, completed an apprenticeship or repair school, and at least 6 years of daily instrument work; you may work on customer owned or retail instruments and provide repair estimates.

Qualifications

• Instrument repair experience on brass/woodwind/orchestral/percussion desired.
• Ability to provide repair estimates and manage time/cost efficiently.
• Attention to quality and timely turnaround for customers' instruments.

Responsibilities

• Clean and repair at least one instrument type (brass, woodwind, orchestral or percussion).
• Provide estimates for repair of instruments.
• Work to tight time/cost schedules to meet customer expectations.
• Handle customer-owned and retail instruments from student to professional levels.
• Ensure work is performed at a high quality standard.
