Job summary

Trans-Phos Inc. seeks an experienced Heavy Truck Diesel Technician for a full-time position in Mulberry, Florida. You will repair and maintain Class 8 trucks (primarily Mack), end dump trailers, and heavy equipment.

Qualifications

• Experienced Diesel Repair Mechanic for Class 8 trucks (Mack preferred) and heavy equipment.
• Strong diagnostic skills and ability to repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to work independently within a shop environment while following safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, undercarriage, and mechanical issues.
• Repair Class 8 trucks, end dump trailers, and heavy equipment.
• Use diagnostic tools/software to troubleshoot fault codes and drivability issues.
• Perform routine maintenance and preventive inspections on trucks, trailers, and equipment.
• Document repair descriptions with equipment model and hour readings.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and adhere to safety regulations.
