Job summary

Pembroke & Co., Inc. is seeking a Heavy Vehicle Service Technician to diagnose and repair diesel and Class A vehicles, focusing on engines, hydraulics and transmissions. The team emphasizes community, safety, and quality service in a relaxed, friendly environment.

The role is Monday–Friday during normal business hours with potential for part-time options. Some Saturdays may be required based on business needs and workload.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience working with heavy duty vehicles.
• Commercial Inspection license is preferred.
• Maintain excellent communication skills & be able to work independently.
• Ability to work overtime if required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, inspect, service, and perform maintenance on heavy-duty trucks.
• Perform preventative maintenance, inspecting for road-worthiness and safety issues.
• Work with diesel engines.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues related to turbos, injectors, and radiators.
• Research and order parts with appropriate approvals.
• Perform maintenance on trailers, as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Report damages or faulty equipment to management.
• Additional tasks as needed.
