Job summary

ISS Facility Services seeks a Commercial Dock & Door Service Technician in Thousand Oaks, CA to perform installation, maintenance, repair and preventive upkeep of overhead doors, docks, gates and related hardware in commercial and industrial settings.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, coordinating with operations teams, safe work practices, and completing PMs on time. LOTO compliance and the ability to lift heavy objects are required; a collaborative team player is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum eight years of experience performing maintenance and repairs on overhead doors, dock levelers, gates, and door access readers.
• Experience with customer line of business and building types.
• Ability to read P&IDs, floor plans, site maps or electrical diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Perform operation, replacement, repair, and maintenance of commercial doors, docks, gates and related components.
• Respond to service calls and resolve emergencies or breakdowns.
• Maintain PMs and preventive maintenance records; ensure safety standards and clean work areas.
