SCHUNK USA is seeking a skilled CNC Mill-Turn Machine Setup Operator to join our precision manufacturing team in Morrisville, NC. This role involves setting up and running multi‑axis mill‑turn machines, configuring tooling and workholding, and integrating robotic loading for automated production.

You will ensure parts meet tight tolerances and quality standards. Successful candidates will have 3+ years of CNC experience, strong GD&T knowledge, and the ability to interpret blueprints and

Qualifications

Ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings, and setup sheets.
Experience with GD&T and tolerances in manufacturing.
Proficiency in interpreting CNC programs and tool offsets.

Responsibilities

Independently set up and operate CNC multi-axis mill-turn machines.
Install tooling, fixtures, and workholding for production runs.
Load and verify CNC programs, adjust offsets to meet specs.
Configure robotic loading/unloading for automated production.
Perform first-piece inspections and in-process checks.
