Job summary

Thomas Jefferson University is seeking an experienced Data Architect to lead enterprise data management, governance, and architecture across on‑prem and cloud platforms. You will drive modernization, standards, and security while coordinating with stakeholders to meet data requirements.

You will mentor DBAs and developers, maintain compliance documentation, and ensure high availability, performance, and scalable data solutions across the organization.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of related DB administration and design experience.
• Proficiency with relational and cloud databases (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Experience with Azure SQL, AWS RDS, and Google Cloud SQL.
• Strong data modeling, ER modeling, normalization, and schema design.
