Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of engine design experience with rotating assemblies.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret test data.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to communicate with cross‑functional teams and suppliers.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Creo, NX).

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering projects from concept through completion with schedule, deliverables and outcomes.
• Design, develop and integrate engine systems and components from first principles to detailed design.
• Perform calculations and simulations for rotating assemblies, gear trains, pumps, and turbo machinery.
• Select materials and manufacturing processes balancing performance, weight and cost.
• Lead requirements development and verification/validation planning for systems and components.
• Develop test standards, analyze results, and provide engineering recommendations.
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, drafters, suppliers and managers to optimize design and reliability.
• Design to minimize manufacturing cost while meeting FAA certification standards (14 CFR Part 23/33).
• Prepare and review drawings per ASME standards; support production, validation and FAA activities.
