Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a physical science or engineering field and 5 years of related experience or equivalent.
• Strong Python experience with GUI development (PyQt).
• C/C++ code development and maintenance experience.
• Git and collaborative development workflows experience.
• End-to-end ownership of tasks including project management and scheduling.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in cross-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and own Python and C/C++ applications for experiment operations.
• Collaborate with scientists and engineers to translate requirements into reliable software.
• Troubleshoot issues from user interfaces to EPICS-based control systems.
