101 Rogers Memorial Hospital, Inc. seeks an experienced Experiential Therapist I to plan, implement, and evaluate experiential therapy across specialized treatment areas.

The role emphasizes leadership, safety, documentation, and collaboration with interdisciplinary staff in a psychiatric setting. The position supports a variety of expressive activities, including adventure-based, arts, and horticulture therapies, with flexible day schedules and potential weekend rotations.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree is required, preferably in art, music, dance, recreation, or other therapies.
• A Master’s degree in these areas is preferred.
• Certification/registration through appropriate credentialing board preferred.
• Valid driver license in the state of employment.
• CPR or similar certification required within 30 days of hire, with annual renewal.
• Formal training in management of aggressive patients within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Promote a professional, team-oriented approach to patient/resident care.
• Promote a supportive, collaborative environment with all disciplines.
• Develop and evaluate experiential therapy programming.
• Complete treatment plans and documentation per Rogers policy.
• Attend mandatory trainings and meetings related to Experiential Therapy.
