Job summary

The University of Florida College of Pharmacy Office of Experiential Programs seeks an Assistant Director to oversee daily operations, supervise staff, and coordinate IPPE/APPE experiences for PharmD students on the Gainesville campus. This role partners with the Associate Director and Assistant Dean for Clinical Education to ensure efficient programming.

The incumbent will manage budget, training, site relations, and program improvements, aiming to uphold accreditation standards and deliver

Qualifications

• Master's degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience; or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and four years of relevant experience.
• Experience with coordinating experiential education programs and staff supervision.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Office of Experiential Programs (OEP) and supervise OEP staff.
• Coordinate IPPEs and APPEs curriculum materials, schedules, and site evaluations with course coordinators.
• Manage budget and fiscal matters for the OEP and ensure compliance with accreditation standards.
• Recruit and retain high-quality preceptors and experiential sites, and collaborate with program leadership.
