Job summary

Smith College seeks a dynamic coordinator to connect on-campus learning with off-campus experiences, supporting faculty and staff to align student engagement with curriculum and external partnerships. You will help develop resources, oversee programs, and collaborate across divisions to advance experiential learning and reflective public scholarship.

The role emphasizes collaboration, independent project management, and a commitment to equity and inclusion within a diverse campus community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of independent project management experience or an equivalent combination of education/experience.
• Experience developing course syllabi at undergraduate level; teaching workshops/training for faculty and students.
• Expertise in facilitation methods and connecting research, coursework and experiential learning with students and faculty.

Responsibilities

• Develop curricular support models for faculty engagement in community engaged learning (CBL).
• Expand resources and share data across centers and concentrations; seek grant funding.
• Coordinate with Jandon team and college offices to sustain strategic external partnerships.
