Job summary

Virginia Tech's Career and Professional Development (CPD) seeks a Program Coordinator to design and deliver experiential learning programs, coordinate events, and support student professional development. The role reports to the Director of Professional Development and Experiential Initiatives.

The coordinator will oversee work-based learning programs, build partner relationships, and deliver coaching and presentations to students to enhance career readiness and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with strong communication and administrative skills.
• Experience with project management, event planning, and partner relations.
• Experience with design software and marketing strategies.
• Demonstrated initiative, innovation, and intercultural appreciation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate experiential and professional development programming from design to assessment.
