Job summary

West Virginia University seeks an Experiential Learning Coordinator to integrate career development into the College of Applied Human Sciences. You will manage practicum/internship programs, partner with employers, and support reskilling for students.

You will work with faculty on program development, coordinate courses CAHS 300 and CAHS 489, and provide timely reporting to CAHS leadership. Hybrid work and strong collaboration are expected.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required; 2+ years in higher education settings.
• Experience with internships, practicum development, and student support.
• Experience delivering training/workshops to varied audiences.
• All qualifications must be met by the time of employment.

Responsibilities

• Support practicum/internship/externship development, support, and assessment.
• Identify sites and student pools; develop practicum descriptions; coordinate with faculty.
• Hold information sessions and meet with students individually or in groups.
• Provide reporting and metrics to CAHS leadership for data-driven decisions.
• Coordinate CAHS 300 Career Exploration/Development and CAHS 489 Capstone courses.
• Collaborate with WVU Career Services and CAHS faculty on outreach and resources.
