Job summary

NewGround is a leading design and delivery firm with headquarters in St. Louis and offices in Chicago and Waterloo, Ontario.

We are seeking an Environmental Graphic Designer to translate ideas, stories, and identities into branded environmental graphics that connect people to place. You will develop signage, wayfinding, and exhibit graphics, working with the Branded Environments team from concept through production while delivering thoughtful, original, and brand-relevant design solutions for

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of professional graphic design experience.
• BA/BFA in Visual Communications, Graphic Design, or related discipline preferred.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Acrobat.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative, brand-relevant design content.
• Collaborate with the Design team on presentation content.
• Participate in project kickoffs, design reviews, and other collaborative meetings.
• Present concepts and designs to internal teams, the Creative Director, Director of Branded Environments, and clients as appropriate.
• Obtain brand identity materials, historical assets, and other resources from clients as needed to support project development.
• Coordinate and collaborate with the Creative Director, Branded Environments team, Program Management, and project team members.
• Manage assigned graphic programs from concept through production with support from Senior Designers and the Director of Branded Environments.
• Develop and maintain design review and presentation schedules in coordination with the project team.
• Support client review and approval of assigned creative projects with guidance from Senior Designers and the Director of Branded Environments.
• Collaborate with production resources, vendors, installers, construction teams, and field staff as needed.
• Support project storytelling and development of project content for Business Development.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
