Job summary

The College of Lake County is seeking a Program Manager for Lancer Farms to provide leadership for instructional, operational, and experiential learning across its three sites, including the Campus Farm at Grayslake, the Greenbelt Farm, and the Urban Farm Center in downtown Waukegan. Reporting to Lancer Farms leadership, you will align curricula with workforce outcomes and safety standards.

You will supervise staff, coordinate farm-based instruction, and develop partnerships to support paid work

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in horticulture, agriculture, food systems, education, or related field.
Three years of experience in agricultural instruction, program coordination, experiential learning, or workforce training.
Two years of experience supervising staff.
Experience coordinating instructional activities with curriculum or workforce development objectives.

Responsibilities

Oversees curriculum development and implementation to align with learning outcomes and workforce objectives.
Coordinates schedules, materials, and resources across Lancer Farms sites.
Recruits, trains, and manages staff delivering workforce development programs.
Manages partnerships with external farm education organizations and coordinates paid work experiences.
