Job summary

Agmenity is seeking a Senior Farm Manager to oversee an agricultural amenity, including year‑round vegetable production, community programming, and team management. The role reports to the COO and requires a deep passion for sustainable farming, with experience in CSA, farm stands, and farmers markets.

You will manage four Farm Educators, coordinate planting, harvesting, and distribution, and ensure compliance with FSMA and local health codes while fostering a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading farm teams and coordinating field operations.
• Knowledge of organic farming practices and sustainable supply chains.
• Ability to design and deliver community programs, CSA, farmers markets, etc.
• Strong organizational and communication skills for multi-stakeholder projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of four Farm Educators to grow crops, run community programming, and ensure quality harvests.
• Oversee planting, cultivation, harvest, washing, and distribution; manage equipment and greenhouse operations.
• Maintain crop planning records, budgeting, and material sourcing.
• Foster a high-performance team culture with ongoing learning and accountability.
• Represent Agmenity externally and train staff on skills and procedures.
• Ensure premium produce quality and compliance with FSMA and local health codes.
