Job summary

Hard Rock International in Tampa seeks a Special Events Coordinator to serve as a Guest Service Ambassador and oversee marketing initiatives from guest enrollment to event execution.

You will coordinate promotions inside the casino hotel, ensure event areas are stocked and decorated, monitor expenses against budget, and liaise with operating departments to deliver successful events while maintaining confidentiality of records.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Guest Service Ambassador for the property.
• Execute promotions inside casino hotel, assisting patrons participating in promotions.
• Ensure that promotion/event areas are stocked with necessary supplies, decorations and secures items at conclusion of promotion/event.
• Establish reports and systems to monitor actual expenses compared to budget and take necessary action to meet budget guidelines.
• Assist in disseminating information about events to all impacted operating departments.
• Interfaces with operating departments to ensure timely coordination of all events.
• Execute budgets for individual promotions, records expenditures, charts budget variances and submits to the Promotions Manager.
• Performs clerical duties as needed.
• Maintains security and confidentiality of files, records and lists.
• Establishes an effective working relationship with all operating departments.
