Job summary

BCG Attorney Search seeks an experienced Workers’ Compensation Attorney to join its Columbia, South Carolina office, managing a substantial caseload and helping develop a statewide workers’ compensation practice.

The attorney will handle hearings, draft litigation documents, guide clients through the case process, work with expert witnesses, and prepare for depositions, mediations, and court appearances. JD, SC Bar, and 3+ years’ experience are required.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the SC State Bar Association.
• Minimum of 3 years of workers' compensation experience.
• Ability to manage a high volume of cases and hearings.
• Excellent client service and communication skills.
• Self-starter driven by long-term career goals.
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day management of cases and hearings.
• Draft and file litigation documents, including pleadings and motions.
• Guide clients through the case process.
• Interact with expert witnesses and draft reports and affidavits.
• Prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, and court appearances.
