Job summary

Peoplelink Staffing, in partnership with a prominent company, seeks experienced Welders in Fulton, MS for long-term opportunities with full benefits and profit sharing. Schedule is 1st shift, with overtime required weekly.

Responsibilities include welding and fabrication of structural steel, reading blueprints, ensuring quality, and teamwork with fitters and supervisors to meet production timelines.

Qualifications

• Structural steel welding experience required.
• Ability to read blueprints, shop drawings and welding symbols.
• Experience with structural steel fabrication preferred.
• Strong understanding of welding processes and proper weld techniques.
• Ability to use grinders, cutting equipment, hand tools and measuring instruments.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work the required schedule and overtime each week.

• Perform welding and fabrication of structural steel components according to blueprints, drawings and specifications.
• Read and interpret welding symbols, structural drawings, blueprints and shop sketches.
• Weld beams, columns, plates, channels, angles and other structural steel components.
• Perform quality welds while maintaining proper alignment and fit-up.
• Use welding equipment, grinders, cutting equipment, torches and other fabrication tools safely and effectively.
• Inspect completed welds for quality, accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
• Work closely with fitters, supervisors and quality personnel to meet production schedules.
• Perform tack welding and other fabrication duties as needed.
• Identify and report material defects, welding issues or quality concerns.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment while following all company safety policies and procedures.
• Operate overhead cranes, forklifts and material-handling equipment when authorized.

Peoplelink Staffing, in partnership with a prominent company with operations in both Iuka and Fulton, MS, is looking for experienced Welders to join their team!

Pay: Based on experience

Schedule: 1st Shift

Monday–Thursday: 6:00 AM–4:30 PM

Friday: 6:00 AM–2:30 PM

Saturday: 6:00 AM–Noon

Approximately 48–56 hours per week

Overtime is required every week

Job Responsibilities
