Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an experienced welder/fabricator to join a busy shop in Watertown, MA. The role involves reading blueprints, cutting, forming, welding, assembling and finishing metal components and structures.

Responsibilities include setting up and operating MIG/TIG/Stick welders, plasma cutters and grinders; fitting, welding and finishing steel, stainless and aluminum parts; measuring to tight tolerances and conducting quality checks. Safety, teamwork and reliability are essential.

Formación

• 3+ years welding/fabrication experience.
• Able to read blueprints and use measuring tools.
• Proficient in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
• Valid NY driver's license; forklift experience a plus.
• Welding certification (AWS or other) but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Read and interpret drawings, templates and work orders.
• Set up and operate MIG/TIG/Stick welders, plasma cutters, grinders and other shop equipment.
• Fit, weld, grind and assemble structural steel, stainless and aluminum parts.
• Measure and layout parts to tight tolerances; perform quality checks.
• Maintain safe, clean workspace and follow PPE and safety procedures.
• Assist with material handling and fabrication tasks as needed.
